It's the last four shows of the Art of Soul & Sensuality and dammit, have I started it off with a bang. I've got two of Columbus, Ohio's finest in the building this Sunday night, and I guarantee they will bring the house down. First, I have the CEO of Cover Me, host of Marquee Mondays, Waaaaaay Out East and the premier Thursday night's The Art Of...@ the Zanzibar, poet Nick Brown. Second, I have nationally known, Poet/Artist JG the Juggernaut. Both are known to simply rock the mic wherever they go. Simply put, the bios (Nick Brown) Cover Me is a Safe Sex promotions company. We host events; Cover ME presents "The Art of..." which is our weekly Artist Showcase at Zanzibar Brews, Cover Me presents "Impromptu Sunday Bar-B-Que" (summertime), and Cover Me presents "Sunday Dinners" (wintertime), and coming soon Cover Me presents "Off the Dome" which is a MC/Rapper competition we're in the process of putting together right now. We use all these events and so much more to spread the word about the importance of Safe Sex. "Cover Me I'm Goin In!" Join the movement. Spoken word artist John “JG The Jugganaut” Gibson is a unique talent, whose complexities enrich his work on the microphone. He took his first breath of life in Akron, OH. Raised in Akron and Columbus, John soon left both to attend Bowling Green State University on a football scholarship where he graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Interpersonal Communications. After a post college NFL career didn’t materialize Gibson, a life long writer, began writing poetry when a poem randomly hit him in the middle of the night. (JG) Heavily influenced by the hip-hop culture, Gibson guarantees to take your mind and heart on a metaphorical ride into topics that cover civil rights issues, feel good comedy, to erotica
