It's Extraordinary Man Thursday.  Our guest tonight is all the way from New Orleans, LA.. Kevin Stylez is a singer/Songwriter from New Orleans Louisiana. He is also a piano player. His passion for music began in the church

Wynton Thomas, “Kevin Stylez” was born on December 3, 1991. Raised in a family of singers and entertainers its easy to understand how becoming one himself wasn’t much of a choice, it was sort of inherited. Naturally gifted with a singing voice and passion for the stage Stylez’s gift to sing and play piano came from displaced directions. As a means of keeping his mind off of Americas greatest natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina, the native New Orleanian Stylez credits his mother for purchasing him his first keyboard to relieve his stress of being removed from friends and family. Stylez spent countless hours teaching himself how to play by ear and the unique love affair between he and music took to another stratosphere. In high school Stylez joined an all teen band “Muzik Hurtz”, Stylez and the band opened for the likes of Boyz II Men, Trey Songz, Cameo, Jeffery Osborne, and a host of headliners. Also as a musician at one of Americas fasted growing church’s Franklin Avenue Baptist Church Kevin was groomed under some of the tightest musicians in the industry. His innate ability to connect with the crowd and passionately paint linguistic pictures with song and keys makes him one of the youngest up and coming artist to embrace real music. He attributes his style to his mentors, some of his favorite artists, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Tank, Jamie Foxx, Ray Charles and Luther Vandross.
