The Newly Congressional Ethics Committee

Rev. Pickney and I will discuss the appointment of Yvonne B. Burke to this committee. Ms. Burke was on the County Board of Supervisors for Los Angeles. Ms. Burke had more police brutalities in her district, more children were removed and many hospitals were closed in here area. In addition, Ms. Burke allowed the County to pay State Judges an additional $40,000 plus a year in an effort to have cases fixed. No judges has ever ruled against the County our of over seven-hundred cases last year when the County was a defendent. Ms. Burke does not belong on a Ethics Committee and we are asking everyone to call and ask that she be removed, if not, we will go backwards. Afterall, Obama ran on transparancy.
