Samuel Scutter Newton, is a medical professional and financial consultant who currently lives and works in Las Vegas Nevada.  He is also extremely active with fraternal organizations such as the Shriners and Freemasons. While serving in the United States Air Force and attaining the rank of staff Sgt., he received multiple military commendations. When the Apollo 11 astronauts returned from the moon in 1969, Mr. Newton was among the team of elite medical specialists who assisted Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins through the period of physical examinations and biological quarantine they underwent upon their return to Earth.

In 1969 Samuel Scutter Newton left the Air Force and the NASA medical team in Houston to enter the civilian workforce as vice president of Success Motivation Incorporated in San Antonio, Texas. Early in the 1970s, he decided to continue his healthcare training at the University of Texas and Baylor University Medical Center. While studying at Baylor University, Mr. Newton specialized in the physiology of perfusion, the dispersal of blood through the circulatory system to the network of capillaries embedded in living tissue.

After finishing his studies and relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada, Samuel Scutter Newton went on to found Las Vegas Heart Lung Perfusion Inc. where he ultimately provided perfusion services to hospitals throughout Nevada and California. After selling Heart Lung Perfusion in 1989, Mr. Newton set the stage for a second career as an investment consultant.
