Praise the the Lord, everybody! This the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.  May we enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise!

Welcome to New Direction's Teaching Ministry, Sharing God's Word for Today.  We welcome all of our guests, listeners, and prayer warriors.

I am your host and presenter, Loyce McCullough, pastor of New Direction Christian Fellowship, Stockton, California.

The subject for today's episode is Yeshua, Jesus, Servant of God, Servant for All People.

It is recorded in Phil. 2:7,8 why Yeshua came to earth.  "He made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a Servant, being made in human likeness, and being found in appearance of a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death--even death on the cross".

Several scriptures in the Old and New Testaments speak of the coming Messiah, would indeed become the Servant/King.  Even James, the brother of Jesus,  describes Him as a bondservant.

In these last days, so many people do not want to associate themselves with servants, or anyone who have jobs that  are of an humble nature. Many people are filled with pride, arrogance, haughtiness, etc. If we desire to be like Him we must humble ourselves under His mighty and Hed will exalt us in due time.

Come and enjoy the great person of Jesus Christ and Learn about what real servanthood is all about!

Join us each Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am PST, 11 am CST, 12 noon EST. The call-in number is 323.642.1770.  If using your computer, enter blog/talk/radio/dr loyce mccullough.
