Most leagues have a prize for more than just 1st place.. and that's great. But no one would choose to finish in any other place than as league champion! We'll try to get you there this week with our offbeat balance of news, advice and humor (beer - also there's beer!).
Earlier in the year we talked about some trends that we could see developing in players, and at no time is that more important than now. This is not the right time to start players on hunches, or to nab an up-and-coming guy to stash on your bench. No, in this last game of the season you should lead with your best moves - and that means guys that have been consistent performers every week.
What's that? Your team has a problem with consistency, you say? You drafted Mathews and McCoy, you say? Yeouch.. well, even so there are some band-aids out there in free agency and we'll try to lead you to the right ones.
