J. Wright Goes Live With Multi-Talented Super Producer Hassan Shareef

Hassan grew up in New York and began working in recording studios and producing as a teenager. His unconventional professional trajectory has led him to major cities all over America working in numerous music/creative capacities for record labels, publishers, licensing companies, radio stations, TV networks and ad agencies. 

As a music supervisor, Hassan found his niche in New York and lately works on most projects independently. His talents have recently been tapped for A&R projects with Roc-A-Fella, Def Jam, E-One, and Sony as well as working artists like Sevyn Streeter, Mack Wild, Ice T., GunPlay (MMG), Trae the Truth, CeCe Peniston, Lil Kim artist Tiffany Fox, Lil Biddy. 

Black Magic Studio was established in 1991 in New York City by Hassan Shareef. Hassan has been in the music industry for over 20 years and has worked as an A&R and music producer. He specializes in mixing and mastering. Hassan’s primary work has been in R&B and hip hop, but he has worked with various genres of music to help record and prepare incredible tracks.
