Gabriel Patterson aka Lil Gabe has always had a love for music. Growing up in the small town of Burton, Tx, he had the benefit of listening to some of the best rappers of the south. With some of his favorite rappers being J-Dawg, T.I., Lil Boosie, and Pimp C; he had plenty of inspiration. However even though he had a love for music his aspiration of becoming a rapper didn’t come until later on in life. He actually started off with the love of football and had the dream of going pro. However, with a career ending injury in 2012 where he tore all of his ligaments/nerves in his right shoulder, his life changed. See becoming an artist didn’t just happen overnight, he started off just joking with his friends. Over time listening to beats, writing rhymes, and reciting verses became something he did every day. With the thought of making something happen in this rap business, the label Cash Life ENT came into existence. From recording songs in his bedroom on other artist’s beats to now recording in a studio with beats produced by Stayblowed Music Production, you can say Gabriel Patterson’s sound has come a long way. Starting off with the mixtape The Grind, to the album The Struggle, and now to his new album Goin’ Hard Til I Die, Gabriel has shown true growth and is the true definition of overcoming his struggle! Real recognize real and I feel like if you listened to his lyrics, you will feel his story. All of his songs can be found on Itunes, SoundCloud, and Google Play.
