Hailing from the West Side of Baltimore, Ty Ill is a young aspiring Rapper currently honing his craft and coming into his own style and signature sound, and so far is hitting the ground running.

With anchor influences like Nas, Biggie, 2Pac, Jay-Z, and Redman Ty started out performing at the 5 Seasons a local open mic, opening him up to the music scene and garnering a presence in his stomping grounds. It was then that he realized that music and performing had a major impact on his life and decided to expand his horizons.

At age 17, he wrote his debut album Hard Living that ended up being self-produced with a childhood friend, Badinfo at Spitters Club Studio, which is run by Shaka Pitts, who currently owns Pitt Fights Battle League. The lp contained 10 tracks with no appearances straight raw lyrics from the streets the way he saw it.

By the time he was 19, he had been writing song’s and recording for and up coming mixtape DA REASON I’M ILL which was hosted by Baltimore’s own Dj Jabril. After Da Reason I’M ILL was released he followed up with 3 more mixtapes Parkheights Radio vol 1 ft his childhood friend rapper Darkside, vol 2 and Food for thought which consist of 41 tracks.

After years of focusing on his craft and linking up with Hit Producer Don Trunk, Ty-iLL is back and here to stay, in the process of dropping his first single “Hip Hop”(featuring Don Trunk) which is produced by 440Tuned at Dream 1st Studio. There will be another single dropping soon after, being distributed through ITunes, Spotify, Cdbaby, Tidal, Google Play, Amazon mp3 and other streaming platforms.

With his eyes on the prize and mind determined to shine, it won’t be long til Ty Ill will be in the spotlight. In the meantime, keep your eyes open for his single “Hip Hop” dropping next Monday, May 30th. An EP is slated for release in 2017.
