Interview with Judy Freedman
Judy S. Freedman is a licensed clinical social worker and bullying prevention specialist. She has had therapeutic and educational experience with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings.  She created Easing the Teasing, a groundbreaking program that empowers kids with essential skills and strategies to handle teasing incident in school. Dealing with name-calling, put-downs, and ridicule effectively and confidently is the first step in bullying prevention.

Ms Freedman’s book, Easing the Teasing – Helping Your Child Cope with Name-Calling, Ridicule, and Verbal Bullying was published in September 2002. Considered an authoritative reference in the field, the book is now in its eighth printing and has been translated in Portuguese and Chinese.
