Maintaining a Godly life is possible

Tonight’s discussion will be how to maintain your life with God or your walk with God. Some claim difficulty in maintaining their walk with God especially in the area of witnessing. We need to show mercy to any kind of physical or spiritual need; all the while using the Holy Spirit for direction and guidance. There will some in need that we will have to use tender care and patience, just as God did with you, in helping a soul grow in God. Yet, others will need drastic measure and steps taken to rescue them from temptation. This is where the challenge comes in for many because some are still taking baby steps themselves and want to go into a lion’s den and perform deliverance and many end up ravaged by the lion or have fallen back into temptation themselves. There is always the need to use to use wisdom and caution. The scripture we will use as a backdrop and source of discussion will come from the book of Jude 1:20 “ building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction, 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. 24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,” Finally, we will also use this scripture in tonight’s discussion to show if you want to be saved and maintain a Godly life; He is able to keep you from stumbling. For many of us we just have to bow to the leading of the Holy Spirit which dwells in us.
