Do Tha Knowledge Radio Presents: Jes Us- Youth Empowerment Organization

Jes Us is the President and Founder of Jes Us Youth Organization, which is a non-profit organization inspired by the desire to eliminate the term “at risk youth.” As a young person in school, he faced many academic challenges in reading and spelling. His father would work with him daily to expand his vocabulary, while teaching him the importance of proper communication. His determination and focus, along with the loving support of his mother and father he was able to overcome these challenges. His father’s passion for learning and building the mind, influenced him to become more active in the community. He decided to empower the youth in the community by forming Jes Us Youth Organization to create solutions to help young people achieve their goals. He was taught by his father that excellent communication was mandatory in order to be successful, so in turn he formed programs that allows youth to communicate with adults who will educate them about possible career paths. His passion for youth, extends to his work as a Youth Leader, to educate young people about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) and to unleash their entrepreneurial spirit by introducing an innovative TV show under the theme, “Stay Focus Youth” that is based on youths interviewing business owners and S.T.E.M. professionals in their work environment, through live streaming, pre-recorded media, interactive webcast series, workshops, and phone interviews.
