The Epistle of John presents “God Is Love.” It is written to remind us of humanity of Jesus Christ; the purpose why God became man, the righteous Son of God became a sinful son of man. This book calls us to acknowledge that Jesus Christ came into this world to redeem us from the wrath of God that is to come. He gave Himself as a ransom for many and that though His obedience we could experience eternal life by a simple act of reciprocal obedience to accept Him as our Lord and Savior. In John letters, we could experience that God’s love can make us give up on hatred, expects us to let go all sinful habits and attitudes, calls us to specific actions in addition to our confession of faith and leading us toward the true faith and love of God in Jesus Christ.

Jude presents God of Integrity. There are all of false teachers who are attempting to deny the deity of Jesus Christ as well as the integrity of the Bible. They will certainly fail when they meet with the God of Integrity.  The Bible says, they are attempting to suppress the truth, preaching their own gospel. They are preaching “a making feel good gospel”, preaching what people would likely appreciate to hear but not exactly what the Bible says. If we are called to be men of God, representing Jesus Christ as ambassadors on the earth, we need to exercise God’s kind of integrity, not that of the world. We are called to the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ and to be ready to give a defense to everyone who ask us for a reason for the confession of our faith and to speak the truth to all man.
