It has grown from Kens personal interest in Indian lore and bushcraft from stories told to him by his grandfather to the current theme of "Teaching the ways and means to survive." In his classes and demonstrations he challenge others to consider "What can you do with what you have in an emergency situation?". Innovation is a key ingredient to survival as well as expanding your knowledge base and practicing your skills. Kens focus is centered short term survival scenarios along the lines of being stranded by accident or by natural disaster. He teaches how to stay alive and become found or how to find help.
