2:00-3:00PM CT: PZRadio with Ray Gano. This show is about:

- Real prepping for real people.
- No Hollywood ideas.
- No Mad Max apocalyptic world views.
- Just real issues that we will have to deal with...

If you were getting all excited about the possibility of meat prices coming down, you might want to put up your grilling apron back up. The Departments of Agriculture in both Texas and Oklahoma have announced cattle producers are experiencing herd deaths due to toxic algae blooms in the water, which is directly related to the excessive heat and drought currently being experienced in OK, TX, NM, CO and LA. To make matters worse, the National Weather Service is sending out warnings of a massive heat wave that will hit Oklahoma and Texas beginning this weekend and will last through at least next week. That means, we Okies and Texans will be enduring 110+ degree heat and extremely high humidity.

My guest on PZ Radio is Lorri Hardin. She the Senior Agricultural Environmental Scientist for the state of Oklahoma's Agricultural, Food and Forestry department.
