7:00-9:00PM CT: Preparedness Panel
Original Air Date: Saturday, March 12, 2011

Host: James Talmage Stevens / Doctor Prepper
Moderator: Barbara Salsbury

Panel members:
Selected authors, experts, and experienced preparedness practitioners meeting together to present ideas, how-to’s, and what-to-do’s that can be applicable to all listening.

Today's Topic: Emergency Preparedness vs Personal Preparedness.

Think about what just happened in Japan. What if YOU and hundreds of your neighbors suddenly have no heat, light, water, sanitation, communication, and no convenience store open down on the corner, and it may be this way for an extended period of time? What if you suddenly have to evacuate?

The panel will discuss what your city/town and emergency organizations can and can't do for you and why YOU must take personal responsiblity for your own and your family's preparedness. What to have in your "Start Over" kit, including important documents, water, foods that will work in these conditions, shelter, sanitation, lighting, ways to keep you warm, a non-electric radio, and what to include for the children, the elderly, and the hulk that is your teenager.
