This is a special 1-hour podcast of the October 5th, 2010 Ready or Not show with Carolyn Nicolaysen. Scot and Maurine Proctor, publisher and editor-in-chief of Meridian Magazine talk about their work with the Utah Hospital Task Force in Haiti shortly after the devasting earthquake there, including the challenges they faced in their relief efforts and the profound effect that the earthquake had on the lives of the people.

Please Note: Relief efforts in Haiti are ongoing, and one of the best ways to help out is through Americans Helping Haiti, a non-profit corporation organized by a group of American citizens following their experience in Haiti as part of an emergency medical relief team sent in response to the devastating January 12, 2010 earthquake. The organization was created for the purpose of building a hospital to provide basic medical care to survivors, especially children, who suffered and continue to suffer from injuries sustained during the quake.
