One Love, One Connection, One Us Presents: Why We Hurt The Ones We Love

We all heard the saying "We hurt the ones we love" but why. If you love someone wouldn't you want the best for them, don't you want them to be happy even if it's not with you. Maybe we don't really know what love is and can only love to the degree we understand love. The dictionary can't tell any one person what love is to them it is something they learn growing up from their family, friends, how others treat then and yes tv, movies and books. What we do with this information will determine how we love others but how we love others must fit in with our paradigm of what love is supposed to be. All of that will have it's basis in how the person feel about themselves.
