Up and coming Author Marilyn "SLYCE" Brown was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She is the youngest of six children. She has two daughters Michele and Rhian-Tanea'.
 
Her love for writing started at the tender age of 9, when her mother brought her first diary. Being the youngest girl after four boys, she often had to play pretend and make believe to entertain herself. Writing gave her that freedom.

 

Marilyn was given the name SLYCE from her brother in law because she....well the name speaks for itself. After going through some legal issues. She realized that ONLY GOD was going to take her where she needed to go. She put down that destructive life style and started knocking those DREAM KILLERS out of her life.

TODAY she's an Intake Director at an Assistant Living Facility. She writes her books and she also promotes Authors on her Facebook page "SLYCE, THE BOOK CLUB"
