Often times we as people get caught up, messed up, and so we shut up and shut down.  It sounds very poetic but it's very true. That comes from individuals not being true themselves. 

Honestly if enough individuals tapped into who they really are, they wouldn't get into half the trouble they find themselves in.  Instead oft letting "self" work for you, you are the slave to other outside forces that holds you hostage to any and everything. It's very compelling, as many people don't take the time to work on themselves or use those senses that they were blessed to have.  Trust me no one wants to be a slave and certainly not a hostage.
