Times are a Changing, Are You? A DCOAB Wednesday

Hey there Tea Sippers! Today's installment of Don't Come out of a Bag Wednesday is going to focus on a few things that have been brought to my attention just recently and I truly believe that this is the time to tackle these issues and bring about awareness and put into perspective what everything would, could, and should mean to the matriculation of humankind.

Now, you know how this works, We can and will talk about any and everything that is on your mind, Right Here, Right Now, BUT if you come out of a Bag on me, I WILL come out to find a BIGGER BAG ON YOU! Here are a few things on my mind this week:

* Spellman College and Transgender Inclusion: Spellman officials are putting together a task force that will examine the benefits of including and enrolling Transgender Students. Is this a step in the right direction? How will the legacy of this institution be preserved? Is it time to change the narrative to show the progression of the school and the changes our society has gone thru? If Spellman decides to move forward with this initiative, would this create a precedent for all HBCUs specifically Morehouse because it's a single gender educational facility?

* The POWER of The Vote: IS it really possible for Native Americans of African Descent aka Black Folks to use their vote as collateral in this political race? Oh, YES my darlings, this is going to be a Really HOT POT of tea for your nerve, so bring plenty of crumpets!
