On this episode of Discover Janesville, Lois Corwin of Friends of Noah and Alicia Reid, owner of Raven's Wish Art & framing and gallery (located at 101 W. Milwaukee in Janesville), join Yuri to talk about the upcoming Arfctic Art event coming up on February 15th from 10 am - 4 pm at the Pontiac Center.

Next, Yuri shared his thoughts on the Sochi 2014 Olympics.  From concerns about security to the general air of unpreparedness of the host city and the ongoing political repressions in Putin's Russia, Yuri finds it hard to be excited about these games.

Dianne Young is a professional public speaker and she joined Yuri to talk about her upcoming show on Janesville Community Radio, in which Dianne will highlight success stories in the area and beyond.

Winner of Janesville Area Creativity (JAC) Roots award, Callie Schouten, called the program from her home in Las Vegas to talk about her career as a professional stage dancer.  Callie shared the advice she gives young dancers she mentors and her excitement and appreciation for having been recognized with a JAC award.

An upcoming art show at My Office - JVL - home of Janesville Community Radio - will feature art centering on the human body and nudity.  Adena Zastrow - one of the artists featured - called the program to preview the exhibit and to talk about her life as an artist from an artistic family.

Throughout the show, listen to live music performed in the studio by Discover Janesville's house band "Members of the Pancake Riot" featuring Kat, Robbie, Dan and Isaac.
