Happy New Year from Disabled Radio! For the first show of the new year, we’re looking forward to hearing from John Quinn, U.S. Navy (retired). John is the author of Someone Like Me, a memoir of 20 years of service in the U.S. Navy while dealing with cerebral palsy. John is a motivational speaker on disability, success, teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. We’ll also be joined by David Cohen, a friend of John’s who serves as a lawyer with the EPA in Chicago. This is a good show to call or write in with questions about disability in the workplace, such as how and when to disclose disability and how to ask for accommodation, so please share what’s on your mind. During the show (8 to 9 PM CST on Wednesday, 5 January), you can call in at (347) 326-9863. E-mail can be sent at any time to show@disabledradio.com
