General Education of Disability Experience in Society

Adrianne Akers with General Education of Disability Experience in Society (GEODES) GEODES’ mission is to offer education and promote awareness to the public about the social aspects of disability to remove social barriers that inhibit the full inclusion of people with disabilities in our community, as well as promoting the cooperation between the able-bodied and disabled segments of the society. This mission is accomplished through guest lecturing in classrooms, public speaking, and hosting seminars and workshops.
