The reggae music industry boasts a wide selection of artists names, from Screwdriver, Pliers, Ghost, Culture and the list goes on. “No matter what is your name, you don’t have to change it, to hit the top of the charts”, says Colin Roach who got his name from always singing the Errol Scorcher song “Roach in the Corner”.

 

Colin Roach has hit the # 1 spot on the charts with 6 out of his over 50 single releases, namely: “Champion Sound”, “Miss Goodie Goodie,” in combination with Galaxy P, ”Sylvia” , “You Know” featuring Bounty Killer (all produced by King Jammys). “One Hundred Ways” produced by Winston Riley, and “Story Book Children” in combination with Karen Smith produced by Sly & Robbie.

 

After migrating to Miami, on a self imposed hiatus from touring and recording, Colin rebound with his new album titled ‘THE RETURN’. His very impressive single, “Come To Me When You Get Lonely”, a cover of the legendary Tyrone Taylor, is currently making its way up the charts in Jamaica and Florida..
