Welcome to Dimensional Healing!  Our program today is all about natural black hair.  Natural, kinky, coiled, nappy black hair. We have the esteemed Bob Johnson, Founder of Taaliah Waajid Natural Hair Care, the first person to use natural in the name for a salon, the Founder of the Juneteenth World Expo.  Join us as we explore the significance of our hair. Hair is serious business for black people, who don't control the black hair industry.

How do you feel in your gut when you hear the word 'nappy'? Does it connote positive or negative things for you?  What is the emotional connection between natural hair and our  psyches, our well being?

Why do the majority of black women treat or straighten their hair, which then causes major hair (and brain) damage?  What is it within our emotions that causes black women to inflict so much damage and indeed, why is it a cultural norm?

In the 90's Bob Johnson started a 9-step program for black women to cure the addiction of treated hair.
