Lord, Raise It Up!

When we are generous and we choose to bless the work of God, power is unleashed in our lives. In the case of the Shunamite woman it was resurrection power – her son was returned to her after a sickness unto death. In the story we see a cycle of generosity ending in power. She gave to the Man of God, he gave to her in return. When the child died she gave him back to God (She laid the boy of the bed of the man of God), and God gave the son back again to her WITH POWER. What looked hopeless and dead was resurrected. This cycle of generosity produced a channel for the Lord’s power to flow through. But it all started with the first step of generosity taken by the Shunamite Woman!
