Are You Ready For The Battle? Fight the Good Fight of FAITH

The truth is - we were born to fight! It’s in our DNA. From the time we accepted the forgiveness of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and were born again, we entered into a new way of living of which fighting is a major part. No longer victims of our circumstances each of us is now required to take our own responsibility as a warrior in the army of God. Being a pacifist is not an option! Though we are called to love the world that Jesus died to save, and love the Body of Christ, we are commissioned to fight against an enemy who hates us and everything we stand for and who would do whatever it takes to knock us out of the battle. It’s a matter of life and death. Sadly, if we don’t understand God’s requirement that we fight only the devil, the DNA of the warrior will still be at work in our lives and it will cause us to fight among ourselves instead. It is in this way that the Church so often finds itself in civil war instead of battling in unity against the works of darkness. We so easily lose context about who and what the enemy is and get drawn into the wrong battle…or seduced into not going to battle at all.
