I was a freshman and had only been on the university campus for two weeks. It was clear that my whole life was before me and I needed someone greater than myself to help me make important, strategic decisions. At this moment, I made up my mind to become a serious believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I have never turned back. I remember telling God that night about my main motive for putting my entire trust in Him. I said to the Lord, “I want to know the truth…..about everything…..in every situation I find myself in, at the end of the day, nothing matters more to me than knowing exactly what is right or wrong.” I desired to know what was correct at the start of a circumstance; then, once all the smoke cleared away and all the voices died down, I wanted to be left with nothing but the truth; and, of course, if I wanted to be the best Christian I could become. This mindset put me on the path to becoming well acquainted with verses like 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” Hallelujah! Glory! Amen. As far as I am concerned the depths of this passage can never be measured. This verse speaks of excellence, discipline, application and execution of the plans, purposes and pursuits of our God. On this talk show, I am humbled and blessed to share my testimony about how I learned to seek God with all my heart through paying close attention to His Word. Wow! I hope you enjoy listening to this radio broadcast as much as I enjoyed pouring myself out. Along with the listeners, I learned many things.
