Happy Resurrection Weekend!!!!

Glory to God! It’s that time again. We are remembering the passion of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are revisiting His final days as He walked the Via Dela Rosa i.e. the Way of the Cross. We envision the donkey He rode, the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane and the torturous murderers. The whipping, the crown of thorns, the bitter drink, the blood and water, the thieves, the disciples, His mother Mary; we celebrate the memories. Back in 1997, I traveled to Israel with a delegation of 200 others Americans. I remember the walk down that winding road that led to Calvary. I will never forget being baptized in the river Jordan. Enjoy this weekend with us. Be patient! This conversation starts out slow, but it gains momentum as the hosts’ excitement builds with every word and thought that leads us to that glorious resurrection day.
