This is part 1 of 3 episodes where we celebrate the best of classic noir films, For those who may not know what they are- Noir films are dark crime dramas that generally include a femme fatale, most probably a private detective and generally use shadows and darkness to great effect.
Subsequent episodes will include noirs of the 60s-2000s and also an episode on foreign Noirs from other countries.
