Please join Rachel, Sydney and me for a commentary watch of one of my favorite vilms of the 1980's- Streets of Fire- A rock and Roll fable.

Just now available on Netflix streaming- this film is getting a major reassessment. I saw it first run in NYC in the 80's, and no matter how much I shouted from the rooftops, the critics trashed the film undeservedly.

With a cast that includes Diane Lane, Willem Dafoe, Rick Moranis, Bill Paxton, Amy Madigan, Michael Pare (and others too numerous to mention), jam packed with great music by Dan Hartman and the inimitable Ry Cooder, and directed by Walter Hill, this film is a kickass jolt of fun.
