Kendrick Washington By his own admission Kendrick Washington never thought he would go beyond a big childhood dream that would one day change his life forever! Kendrick landed a 1991 American Music Award Grammy Nomination for a song called "Spark of Love" performed by him and his neighborhood friends who called themselves Special Generation. Born with a gift to sing, a talented voice of smooth tone able to switch it up to be aggressive or mellow at any time will demand your attention while he comforts your soul. A big career break begun when chosen to record background vocals on 8 song's that became platinum for an artist who goes by the name of MC Hammer. Hits like.” You Can't Touch This”, “Tell Me Have you seen her”, “Pray”, “Brother Hang on”, “Help the Children” and many more. The Album sold over 40 million in sales, but when it came time to receiving royalties, a promised deposit was never made! Kendrick who? Despite the fame and major exposure it brought to his life, he was still blessed to have inked a major recording deal with Capitol Records at age 20. The label signed Special Generation that created the sound of having smooth vocals behind a successful Rapper. Special Generation landed two Gold singles "Love me just for me" and "Spark of Love." The songs were released exploding to the top of the Music Billboard charts during 1990-91. During the summer of 1992, Ken collaborated with the legendary Gerald Levert and Tony Nicholas to record a song entitled "You found the Right One." That single did very well. After so many years of growing in the business appearing on BET, The Oprah Show, MTV Awards and touring with Artist like, Bobby Brown, TLC, En vogue, Gladys Knight, Baby face. Where is Kendrick now and what is he up to?
