In this tough economic climate, how can you get your resume to the top of the pile? Through volunteering of course! In this segment we'll talk about the importance of volunteering and the many ways it can help you to "reach the top". We will also discuss the importance of finding the right "fit" when seeking a volunteer position.

Volunteer Victoria is the primary volunteer center for Greater Victoria and area, including Sooke, Sidney and the islands. For almost 40 years we have played a unique role both as catalyst and community connector and support more than 300 local non-profits, large and small. Our mission is to advance the value of volunteerism in our region by providing leadership and training in volunteer and non-profit management. Volunteer Victoria helps to recruit/refer more than 16,500 volunteers each year for our non-profit members and provides many valuable programs and services for everyone in our community.
