Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson.

Today I want to share how Our Thinking Affects Our Mind and Body, and why it's so important to be in charge of  these factors and more to live a happy and healthy lifestyle.

Why am I qualified to talk about this subject? As a person who has been involved in smaller and bigger areas in the medical field for over 50 years as nurse, fitness trainer, educator, BTR host, best selling author and certified transformational health and wellness coach, I do have so much experience that I am qualified. Disclaimer, I am not a Dr., but I am very experienced and educated.

Ex.: person went paralyzed, hemiplegic, paraplegic, neck to waste, waste to toes all due to thoughts. Body reacted.

Ex.: person felt poorly, gained weight, could not release lower than 135 lbs on a small frame of under 5 ft 4 inches. Mindset blocked person from success. Worked through it, went down to 118!

Ex.: sometimes changing our lifestyle can do more good than popping pills. Had arthritis in fingers, can play the piano again and type. Can walk stairs again. Can walk, ride my bike, why?

nutrition, hydration, exercise, mental and physical, routine, good deep sleep, waking up rested and rejuvenated happy and healthy, first thing gratitude, I will WIN the DAY card, positive reading, etc. Get up every hour when sitting while working and move around. When on the phone (cell) move around. The more you stand, the more calories you burn and are active, feeling better than sitting around.
