Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Transformational Health Coach, Nurse, Fitness Trainer, Educator, and Best Selling Author.

Over the last few weeks our lives or the way we live has changed. How has that or is this affecting you in your daily life? Has it affected your mental, physical or financial health or all three?

Are YOU in charge of YOUR life or is life in charge of YOU? What are you focusing on? Are you listening to or watching the NEWS all day long? How does that affect your mental wellbeing? How about all the videos that are literally shoved in your emails, on your FB page, etc.? How do you react to these?

On a scale from 1 - 10, 1 being not at all, 10 being totally: How positive are you these days?

On a scale from 1 - 10, 1 being not at all, 10 being totally: Are you in charge of your life, your actions, your thoughts, your behavior?

Are you making the best out of the situation or are you frowning upon?

What can you do to get into a positive mindset and be happy you get to do things you didn't have time before: reading, playing an instrument, learning a new language, reaching out to people who are alone (phone call, txt, email, voice txt, video, etc.)

I am listening 3 x/day to one of the mp3 scrolls from Og Mandino, plus I read books that help me grow mentally.

I am reflecting on life back in February and life now. Am reading more, playing more music, getting up every 45 min - 1 hr and move around, do some jumping jacks, do some weightlifting exercises, drink 64 + oz H20, walk up and down the stairs, and sometimes go for a walk with mask on. Just being positive and doing something you enjoy is therapeutic. Take time with your children. Have story time on FB live Wed @2 PM PST. Have a schedule to keep life as normal as can be.
