Good morning and welcome to get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Transformational Habits of Heatlh Coach, Nurse, Fitness Trainer, Educator, Blogtalkradio host, Best Selling Author.

According to the NEWS on TV we are going into a time change this Sunday, March 8, 2020 and need to set our clocks one hour forward. Yup, Spring 1 hour forward, Fall 1 hour back and Sunday, November 1, we are setting our clock back one hour.

How does this affect your mind and body?

What do you gain?

What do you loose?

Is this change worth putting your body and mind through it?

What is your personal experience?

Are you preparing your children and elderly by changing their getting up and bed time by 10 minutes a day for 6 weeks prior to the change, so the body has time to adjust or do you switch cold turkey?

How do you feel? Energized, happy, healthy, excited to have more daylight OR tired, depressed, getting sick???

Which states still use Daylight Savings time?

Did the daylight saving time measure pass?

Should daylight saving time be abolished?

What three US states do not observe daylight saving time?

Which states don't do Daylight Savings Time?  Short video of DST

This seems to be quite a controversial topic. What are your thoughts, experience, preference?

Is it worth it to you to change the time to have a bit more daylight, yet less sleep? How is the change affecting you? What can you do to prepare for the change?
