Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Transformational Guide, Nurse, Fitness Trainer, Educator, Speaker, Best Selling Author.

3 days ago, we started Fall/Autumn!

What are some of the changes we need to expect and prepare for, so we are not caught off guard?

Temperatures are getting lower.

Leaves are changing colors.

New semester started at College.

Warmer clothing needed.

It's getting dark sooner and light later.

Activities change. more sedentary. What are some options we have to keep being active? Maybe we need to shift some activities to the inside, or simply dress more accordingly for the outdoors activities. Swimming indoors/outdoors, skiing, skating, roller skating, blading, biking, bowling, dancing, gymnastics, weightlifting, endurance, flexibility, movies, concerts, walks in the forest

Oktober Fest!

Pumpkins, decorations, pies

Halloween, Thanksgiving..

Trimming the trees, preparing gardens, google: Preparing for Fall

Cleaning the gutters

Nutrition, more warm food, soups, casseroles,. Less BBQ, salads, fresh fruits and veggies, etc.

It does not need to be, though is quite often a sign of how we feel, think we need to act and react, etc.

Google: Poems for fall season. Lots of poems read, written or in music. You choose.

With the season changing, our habits change, people get colds, the flue, etc. Prevent.
