Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Nurse, Fitness Trainer, Educator, Speaker and Best Selling Author.

This weekend is Easter. What does this mean to you from your perspective?

I know that children like to go on their Easter Egg Hunt to get their sweets. Is this really part of the true Spirit of Easter or something mankind added to make it fun for the children? As children, we always enjoyed boiling the eggs, then painting them, or first wrapping them in leaves, Fern, Flower Pedals, etc. before boiling, so the eggs had a beautiful natural decor.

As adults, I look more at the Spiritual side of the meaning EASTER. Jesus died for us and rose again to take on our sins and deliver us from evil.

Easter definition, an annual Christian festival in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, observed on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the ...

Definition of Easter - the most important and oldest festival of the Christian Church, celebrating the resurrection of Christ and held (in the Western Ch.

Most definitions are pretty much the same, the rising of Christ, HIS resurrection. I am not a Priest, Minister, Preacher, though I am a Christian believer.

Is this "Holiday" the only day we should think about what Christ did for us or should this be a daily consideration?
