Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Nurse, Fitness Trainer, Educator, Speaker and Best Selling Author.

With only 53 days to go until New Years, I've been asked: "How do you get ready for New Years?", "Can you prepare for a change?" "When you set goals, how can you follow up and follow through with them?"

Great questions, though do they move you forward and closer to your goals? My latest saying is: "Goals don't work, ACTIONS do"! I am not saying to not set goals, though am stressing to have an action plan to get there.

ex.: I want to get a degree, promotion, publish a book, loose weight, lower my blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugars.. by When? Subject? Format? Be specific, speak it into reality. Dreaming is good for the start, doing it is excelleent for results.

What I am saying here is: It's all about Mindset! When we change our habits to better ones, we get more accomplished, we get mentally stronger, we see clearer and focus better, we can reach our health goals as we know exactly what to do, when, how, how much, etc. Knowing makes life easier for me, how about for you?
