Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, CEO and Founder of Miclknight, a Health and Wellness Company. I am an Educator, Nurse, Speaker and Author and passionate about healthy living.

Last week I mentioned that I am writing a book called: Your Amazing Itty Bitty Book about Stress, 15 ways to reduce stress and increase health. Yesterday, I sent in my very first rough draft to the Editor. Now it's working on polishing everything, so it will open doors for me to speak about this topic!

Last week I gave some insight on Chapter 1: "What is stress"?

Today I am giving you some tid bids on Chapter 2: "How does stress affect relationships"? Hope you enjoy and learn something new.

- less patience, understanding, tolerance

- causes friction in a relationship

- acceptance of one another is difficult

- be in charge of your life 

- do not give in to stress

- decide on when to clear the air with a rational discussion

- do not judge

- always make peace before bedtime

- take time for yourself, then give to others

Signs of affected relationships

- fighting 

- lack of tolerance

- impatience

- growing apart

- negativity

- splitting up

- avoidance

- having to be right
