"Eye See You"

Our scripture comes from Matthew 6:22, The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

The eye is a metaphor by which light enters the body. Just as a lamp might not be a source of light, but rather as a guide through darkness, so the eye is a guide through life.  This verse is almost certainly speaking of a spiritual eye rather than the literal organ.  Our eye is the center of our perception.  Whether it be spiritual or physical, it is about vision.
