This weeks special guest on “Straight from the horses Mouth” is Jill Carey from Festina Lente http://www.festina-lente.ie Jill is Chief Executive Officer of Festina Lente Foundation, an organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those most at risk of social exclusion, through equestrian and horticultural opportunities. Jill has developed projects such as work enterprises, supported employment, on the job training, equestrian vocational training, social economy projects and more recently a full-time equine assisted learning service for youth - with funding from Allied Irish Banks. Jill has recently registered to commence her PhD in Equine Assisted Learning as an intervention to promote psychological and social well-being.
