On today's broadcast, Ann and Christi chat about global mission needs and the darkness in the world.

Just back from ministering at a Global Missions Conference in Alaska, Ann shares about her friendship with a homeschooling missionary mom with three teenage daughters, who ministers fulltime in Costa Rica -- focused on exposing the evils of human trafficking and sharing the love of Jesus with prostitutes on the streets.

As Daring Daughters, how can we keep out hearts pure, and yet still have a passion for those who are impure? How can we love girls who we meet (perhaps at school, or even who come visit our churches) who might not have the same training in modesty or morality. How can we be loving and uncompromised in our standing, and yet live without judgement and spiritual pride?

In this broadbast, Christi also gives her review of several books including JESUS FREAKS (about t the persecuted church and standing firm for the Lord), ERASING HELL by Francis Chan (written as a biblical response to Rob Bell's book, Love Wins, which we totally disagree with), and also RADICAL, by David Platt (about living as a Radical Christian, not just following the typical American church mentality).
