The Acceptable Christian Sin of Gluttony #4

Philippians 3:17-21

As we continue looking at this particular passage, we recall that Paul compares his own pursuit of spiritual growth with the laziness of those who are content to remain as they are. He urges his readers, "Be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an example." In other words, he is saying, "Follow my example of vigor and diligence; don't follow the example of those who are slothful in their spiritual walk." Why? Because "their end" -- the result of their current mindset and behavior -- "is destruction."
