Our Christian Manifesto Today Passage from the Word of God today is Matthew 5:13 which reads: "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."

Our Christian Manifesto Today quote today is from Ken Ham. He said: "Anti-Christian ideology has permeated much of the secular news media, and so often Biblical Christians are mocked, misrepresented or attacked for what they believe by anti-Christian agenda driven reporters."

In this podcast, we are using as our text: "A Christian Manifesto" by Francis A. Schaeffer. Dr. Francis A. Schaeffer writes on "The Humanist Religion" (Part 3):

Most fundamentally, our culture, society, government, and law are in the condition they are in, not because of a conspiracy, but because the church has forsaken its duty to be the salt of the culture. It is the church’s duty (as well as its privilege) to do now what it should have been doing all the time - to use the freedom we do have to be that salt of the culture. If the slide toward authoritarianism is to be reversed we need a committed Christian church that is dedicated to what John W. Whitehead calls “total revolution in the reformative sense.”
