Church of England Consecrates 1st Black Bishop in 21 Years (BCNN1, 3/20/2017)

1. According to Premier UK, Rev. Woyin Karowei Dorgu has been consecrated as the thirteenth Bishop of Woolwich in London. Karowei is the first black bishop to be consecrated in the Church of England for 21 years.

2. According to Charisma News, a racially diverse group of evangelical leaders and thousands of Christian followers met with police and community representatives Sunday night to discuss solutions to rising violence in our cities and racial divisions in our country.
