Ephesians 6:21-24

C.S. Lewis said, "God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing."

Leonard Ravenhill said, "There is no other way for America to be saved unless we have a Holy Ghost revivaI that makes men hate sin, loathe sin, repent of sin, and turn from sin."

In their book, The Ten Greatest Revivals Ever, Elmer Towns and Douglas Porter share with us: "Evan Roberts felt himself overwhelmed by the love of God. A verse he had learned immediately came to mind: 'But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.' The motto of the revival in Wales was born out of Roberts' experience that day: 'Bend the church and save the world.' Though still young, this new evangelist was about to become God's agent to carry the spirit of revival throughout his homeland."

How do we have peace, show love, and demonstrate faith in our daily lives as Christian believers? We all know that we cannot do these things on our own. That is why Paul said in verse 23, "Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." Peace, love, and faith come from God and Jesus Christ.
