PROPHECY HEADLINES: Japan threatens to shoot down North Korean missile | Obama puts new measures in place to prepare for big earthquake | 3 terrorists shot dead in attack in Jerusalem

PROPHECY BOOTCAMP: Our topic for today is titled "Hell on Earth (Part 7)" from Dr. Ed Hindson's book "Revelation: Unlocking the Future."

The twenty-four elders (symbolic of the Church in heaven) are again on their faces before God as they were in Revelation 7:11, when we last saw them. They are praising God because He has taken power and has reigned. The judgment of the nations has come. And the heavenly temple is opened, revealing the Ark of the Covenant. Heaven is opened. The earth is judged. The kingdoms of this world have fallen. The Lord and His Christ (Messiah) have prevailed, and they shall reign forever and ever.

It doesn't get any better than this! There is no greater statement of triumph in all the Revelation, with the possible exception of Revelation 19:11-16, where Christ actually returns to earth to reign and rule. We cannot overlook the significance of what happens with the seventh trumpet.

OCCUPY TILL I COME: We are continuing our journey through the book, "Coming Events and Present Duties," by J.C. Ryle. This section is titled, "Watch" (Part 30) based on the parable of the foolish and wise virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. J.C. Ryle writes:

Many will come to this in the day of Christ's appearing. They will ask — and not receive! They will seek — and not find. They will knock — and the door shall not be opened to them. Alas, indeed, that so it should be! Woe to the man who puts off seeking his manna, until the Lord's day of return. Like Israel of old, he will find none. Woe to the man who goes to buy oil — when he ought to be burning it! Like the foolish virgins, he will find himself shut out from the marriage supper of the Lamb!
