If those who have not heard the gospel are to have a chance to be saved, every believer must do all he can, under God's direction, to get the gospel to them. God has a work for every Christian in fulfilling the Great Commission. You ask, "What can I do?" Here are five things:

1. Witness. God's plan for evangelizing the world is for everyone who knows the story of Jesus to tell it to someone else—not only with his lips but also with his life. The Lord Jesus said, "Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." Begin now, being a witness for the Lord Jesus, right where you are.

2. Pray. We can pray that God will send forth missionaries to the unsaved, and we can pray daily for the missionaries God has already sent forth. The Lord Jesus said, "The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest."

3. Give. When we give money to the Lord's work, we are sharing in that work, and we will share in the rewards one day. We should give wisely, seeing to it that our money goes to those who are faithfully preaching the gospel. We should give joyfully, knowing that our money is being used that others may have eternal life. The Apostle Paul praised the church at Philippi for their faithful contribution to his ministry of preaching the Gospel.
